The Advocacy Center provides support and services to youth, teens, and adults
    impacted by domestic violence, child sexual abuse, and sexual assault. Services
    include: crisis intervention, emotional support, accompaniment to services such as
    the hospital or police, safety planning, Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE)
    program at Cayuga Medical Center, prevention and risk reduction education, and a
    lending library. All services are free and confidential.

Get Involved

Take a course in self-defense.
Attend Campus and Community Rape-Awareness presentations.
Think about and learn to recognize the connections between rape and other
    manifestations of inequality such as sexual harassment, racism, and violence against
    gays and lesbians.
Work with others in the community who share your concerns regarding rape and
    sexual assault such as The Advocacy Center, Cornell Advocates for Rape Education
    (CARE), Cornell Women's Resource Center (CWRC), and the Cornell Lesbian, Gay,
    Bisexual and Transgender Resource Center.
